Arlington, Vt.,--The Arlington School District is seeking applicants to fill a recent vacancy on the Arlington School Board. The new board member would complete a three-year term that expires March 2010. Candidates must be residents of Arlington. School Board meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.

Applicants should send a letter of interest with a brief statement outlining why they would like to serve on the Arlington School Board to Ken Smith, Arlington School Board Chair, c/o Superintendent’s Office, 530A East Arlington Road, Arlington, VT 05250. Letters of interest must be received by April 9. The Board expects to interview applicants and make an appointment by early May.
