College Financial Aid Discussion

Arlington, Vt.,--Can’t quite master all of those college financial aid forms?  Well, help is on the way.  Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) Outreach Counselor Rick Bernasconi will lead a discussion and offer assistance to students, parents and community members interested in learning more about the Free Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA) form as well as various Vermont grant and scholarship applications.  The event will take place in the Arlington Memorial High School Marsh Library, Tuesday, January 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to the community.

Located in Winooski, VSAC administers grant, scholarship and loan programs for Vermont residents and offers outreach services for Vermont high school students and adults.  Completed FAFSA forms are necessary for any student seeking financial assistance at a college or university.

For more information about the financial aid presentation, contact VSAC directly at 1.800.642.3177 or Arlington Guidance Director Dana Bearor at bearord@bvsu.org or 375.2589, extension 112.  You can visit the AMHS website at www.arlingtonmemorialhs.org.  The Arlington School District mission is to create a safe, caring and respectful environment of academic excellence where students are uniquely challenged to reach their potential at the K-5, 6-8 and 9-12 levels.
